Changes to charges for DIY waste

Following changes to legislation from 02 January 2024, Bodmin, Dudnance Lane, Helston and United Mines household waste recycling centres will no longer accept asbestos, plasterboard, soil, tyres, rubble, and sanitary ware.

All other household waste recycling centres will accept the equivalent of up to eight bags of soil or rubble, or up to eight bags or four sheets of plasterboard or asbestos* for free each week.

Any volumes above this will be subject to charges to cover specialist disposal costs.
