SUEZ Communities Trust
Despite SITA Cornwall Trust no longer taking applications as the last Cornish landfill is now closed and undergoing restoration work, SUEZ Communities Trust will consider applications from project sites in Cornwall providing the site is in an eligible location.
SUEZ Communities Trust is an independent, not-for-profit funding organisation dedicated to making lasting improvements to community life and the natural environment. The Trust is a registered and accredited environmental body within the Landfill Communities Fund. SUEZ Communities Trust distributes funds contributed by SUEZ recycling and recovery UK.
The Trust will consider projects which focus on long-lasting physical improvements at a specified site or amenity. Funding is typically awarded for the purchase of materials, equipment and the appointment of a contractor to undertake improvement work. The Trust does not fund staff posts, organisational running costs, training or events.
If you are involved with a not for profit organisation and would like to find out if it is eligible for funding, visit the Trust’s dedicated website to find out more.
