How to find us

  • From Bude town centre, take the A39 to Kilkhampton.
  • After passing through Stratton, turn left off the A39 to Tiscott Wood.

Monday – Sunday, 9.00am to 4.00pm

Where there is a fee to pay no cash payments will be accepted, card payments only.

  • Cans
  • Cardboard
  • Clothes and textiles
  • Cookers
  • Cooking oil
  • Energy-saving lightbulbs
  • Engine oil
  • Fridges and freezers
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Garden tools
  • Gas bottles
  • Glass
  • Green/garden waste – Please do not bring Japanese Knotweed. Ragwort should be double-bagged and placed in the general waste.
  • Household chemicals (under 5 litres)
  • Household waste including large bulky items
  • Items for re-use
  • Metal
  • Newspaper and magazines
  • Paints
  • Paper
  • Plastic bottles
  • Soil and rubble (there is a fee to pay)
  • Small electrical items
  • TVs/monitors
  • Tyres (there is a fee to pay)

We are currently working in partnership with The Tool Shed who will recycle old and damaged garden tools. A drop off point can be found on this site.

We also have a cartons bank on site in partnership with ACE UK where you can bring the following items for recycling:

  • Food and drink cartons
  • Pringles tubes
  • Paper-based gravy granule containers with metal ends
  • Paper-based hot chocolate containers with metal ends
  • Paper-based coffee containers with metal ends
  • Other paper-based tubes with metal ends
  • NO lids
  • NO food
  • NO food trays, tubs and pots
  • NO paper, card, glass, tins, textiles etc.
