Repair programme update, March 2026

The new boiler has been successfully installed, and as part of this process, the new boiler will now undergo pressure testing and cleaning. These works are internal and will be completed, along with ongoing welding works, by Spring

Following the internal works, the next phase will include closing the boiler house roof, and completion of mechanical works and steam blowing.

During the steam blowing phase, intermittent steam coming from the facility will be visible, accompanied by low level noise as the steam is released. We will minimise impact on residents by piping the steam at ground level and fitting a silencer. This is scheduled to take place during the hours of 7am and 7pm.

A further update will be provided before these works are due to begin.
