Supporting the Chelsea Fringe

SUEZ and the Green Waste Company were absolutely delighted to support the Chelsea Fringe Festival by providing local schools with recycled suitcases from local household waste recycling centres and compost made from Cornwall’s recycled green waste.

Over 46 suitcases and 19 bags of compost were delivered to 12 schools in and around St Austell.

A really colourful display was made from all the entries and, in early July, was displayed at the White River Centre in St Austell for all the local residents to enjoy.

Councillor Gary King said: ‘The enthusiasm from the schools was encouraging and we hoped that the day would be successful and encourage more children to get interested in gardening.”
