Members of the club have demonstrated remarkable talent and commitment, some travelling from across Cornwall twice a week for training held at St Austell Leisure Centre to perfect their routines and showcase their skills. The team comprises of swimmers from various backgrounds and abilities who come together to create beautiful performances that captivate audiences and highlight the workmanship of artistic swimming.

“Supporting local sports teams is a core part of our commitment to the community,” said Craig Mouatt, Regional Manager from SUEZ.  “We are thrilled to partner with Kernow Artistic Swimming Club and help them raise their profile and achieve their goal of competing on a national stage. Their dedication and passion inspire us, and we believe in the importance of fostering local talent.”

To reach their fundraising target of £10,000, the Club is organising a series of community events, including bake sales, tombola’s, a duck race, Asda collections, and a special gala performance showcasing their skills. The funds raised will go towards travel expenses, accommodation, costumes and head dresses, ensuring that the team has the resources they need to succeed.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support from SUEZ and our other local sponsors said Michelle Russell, Committee Member and Treasurer. “Their sponsorship brings us one step closer to our goal of competing nationally. We are committed to representing Cornwall with pride and showcasing the hard work and dedication of our swimmers.”
