Penryn College’s Student Council Sustainability Champions
As part of Penryn College’s efforts to increase recycling and reduce litter on site, three new recycling stations have been donated to the school by SUEZ recycling and recovery UK.
The addition of the stations is in line with the ongoing work that Penryn College’s Student Council Sustainability Champions are carrying out to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability, and how the school community can play a part in helping preserve the planet.
‘Sustainability is our future and it is wonderful to see our Student Council Sustainability Champions leading the way for the school,’ said Penryn College Business Manager, Sally Price.
‘We have been incredibly well supported by SUEZ with their donation of the three recycling stations, which we are sure will help our students and staff recycle more.’
And the school’s sustainability journey is something that the staff at SUEZ are proud to be a part of.
Julie Mazzoni, Field Sales Executive for the company said, ‘We’re delighted to be able to provide Penryn College with these recycling stations and are really looking forward to seeing an increase in the recycling rates, over the coming months. These small changes can have a huge impact on the environment.’
