School garden project with Connon Bridge household waste and recycling centre

Andy Giddy, the team leader at Connon Bridge household waste and recycling centre, along with his team were delighted to be able to support Janey Bryson, a volunteer at St Cleer Primary School with her amazing work on a recycled garden project.

Catherine Stoate, the Executive Headteacher first contacted Ryan Sleeman, the area supervisor, with a wish list of items that Janey and the school needed to help create a learning environment which would encourage children to reuse and recycle.

The wonderful, creative outdoor spaces that have been developed with the reused items collected by the household waste recycling centre team and the recycled compost from the Green Waste Company, have also helped with learning about the importance of taking care of the environment.
