SUEZ Team make a splash with charity car wash event at the CERC

The Southwest Key Accounts team have taken charity fundraising to the next level by organising a series of simultaneous car wash events at several sites across the Southwest.

The team was comprised of employees from the Industrial and Commercial department, including key account managers, service delivery staff and local operational teams, to generate a collaborative approach to the event. They all came together to raise money for Macmillan and the British Heart Foundation, charities supported by SUEZ and close to their hearts.

By combining their skills and resources, they were able to plan and execute a successful car wash fundraiser which also included a BBQ and cake sale that gained great support from colleagues and raised £1,100.

“We wanted to find a fun and inclusive way to raise money for our partner charities,” said Steph Saenz, Key Account Manager ‘Everyone at the energy recovery centre really helped to make it a great day’

“We’re thrilled with the success of our car wash events and are grateful for the support of our colleagues who have helped us make a real difference’’ said Emma Barr, Key Account Executive.
