Under 16’s rugby team’s dreams of international tournament boosted by donations from local materials recycling facilities

SUEZ recycling and recovery UK a leading waste and recycling company in Cornwall, is proud to announce a donation of £300 to the St Austell RFC, under-16’s rugby team. This contribution will help the young rugby players fulfil their dream of competing internationally in France, this Easter weekend.

As part of SUEZ’s commitment to supporting local communities, this donation will assist the team with travel expenses, training equipment, and other essential costs associated with their upcoming international tournament. The St Austell team has demonstrated incredible talent and teamwork, and this opportunity will not only enhance their skills but also foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among the players.

“Our staff at Bodmin and Pool materials recycling facility raised the money at the sites through the sale of snacks and drinks” said Christine Roos, Production Operations Manager at SUEZ. “We’re really passionate about supporting this local team as it’s not just about rugby; it’s about empowering these young sportsmen to chase their dreams and represent Cornwall on an international stage.”

The St Austell team have demonstrated real talent in the local games, showcasing exceptional dedication and spirit throughout the season. Their participation in the Tournoi De Cornouaille in northwest France is a significant milestone that will provide invaluable experiences and memories for the players.
