How to find us

  • Turn off the A30 to St Erth.
  • Continue forward past the train station.
  • Having gone under the bridge, take the first exit to your left and the site is located on your left.

Opening times

Monday to Sunday, 9.00am to 4.00pm

This site is open every day except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

 

From 23 September 2024, Cornwall Council is asking people to book in advance before visiting this HWRC. The booking system was developed to reduce waiting times and help keep road users safe.

How to book a slot

You can book a 30-minute slot on the Cornwall Council website at www.cornwall.gov.uk/tipbooking or by calling 0300 1234 141.

You can book for the same day, if there are spaces available, or up to a week in advance. Once you’ve booked your slot, you’ll receive an email confirming your booking.

Make sure you arrive in the vehicle you booked for and remember you need a vehicle permit to enter the sites for certain vehicles, such as vans or pick-up trucks. You can check what vehicles need a permit on the Cornwall Council website.

Where there is a fee to pay no cash payments will be accepted, card payments only.

Please note: From the 02 January 2024, this site will accept up to the equivalent of 8 bags of soil or rubble or 4 sheets of plasterboard or asbestos per week without charge. Any additional volume will be charged to cover specialist disposal costs.
