Two lines of the energy recovery centre were temporarily turned off last week to allow safe access to the turbine to remove the rotor for repair.

We are bringing the lines back into service over the course of the next day. During this process, low pressure steam will be released from the facility until the steam reaches the correct pressure to pass through the air cooled condenser fans. As such, you may see steam coming from the facility at intervals accompanied by low level noise as the steam is released.
